TTS Surfacing recently completed a Block Paved driveway in Ashtead, Surrey. The area included a side path joining the front to the back of the house.
Area = 94m²
Dig out area to a depth of 275mm and muck away.
Supply and install a tegula block edge, laid on a concrete bed, with concrete backing and using the same blocks as the driveway.
Supply and lay 175mm of type 1 crushed concrete and consolidate.
Supply and screed a sharp sand bed with a compacted depth of 40mm.
Supply and lay tegula block paving to the total area, colour to be decided.
Supply and sweep in silicon jointing sand.
