TTS Surfacing Limited resurfaced a playground at a school in Godalming, Surrey.

 

Area = 424m²

Supply and lay asphalt to a nominal consolidated depth of 40mm to the newly created macadam areas.
Supply and lay 25mm depth of 6mm asphalt over the newly created areas.
Each layer is to be laid between metal screed bars and levelled with steel straight edge to achieve a level and even textured surface.
Thoroughly roll and crush roll each layer with a heavy mechanical roller.

 

Area = 3147m²

Thoroughly clean down the existing macadam surfacing to remove all loose and friable debris.
Stabilise loose areas, apply a tack coat and 25mm depth of 6mm asphalt over the entire area to be laid between metal screed bars and levelled with steel straight edge in order to achieve a level and even textured surface.
Allowance for stabilising existing loose areas.
Prepare and apply tack coat to existing tarmac surface.
Supply and lay 25mm deep 6mm asphalt.
